Front-Panel Revision Control for Production and Service Parts
A separate front panel needs one revision chain from artwork and cutout geometry through production inspection and service replacement.
Supply boundary: Baoshengda supplies confirmed custom printed interface components, graphic overlays, membrane interfaces and related parts. We do not supply LCD displays, PLCs or complete HMI controllers.
What belongs in the revision record?
Artwork revision should identify the approved legends, icons, colors, windows and finish. Window-cutout revision should use the same coordinate reference as the housing and display opening.
Material and adhesive revisions matter because a visually identical panel can behave differently during bonding, cleaning or service. Each change should connect to an approved sample or inspection record.
Production and service must use the same identity
Record the production batch, effective date and machine variant for each approved panel. Service stock should identify the same revision rather than relying on appearance alone.
When a machine family shares one touchscreen but uses different artwork, cutouts or legends, the external panel needs its own part number and variant rule.
